LDT 2: Become competent and confident in the use of various tools and technologies, related to learning, communication, and making things.

From INTE 5680: Producing Media for Learning, I selected two of my favorite artifacts to showcase my competency with technology: my “Yellow” podcast and my “Sunshine” video. I have used many of these lessons with my media students this year to have them gain the confidence they need to produce our news program. I hope you enjoy listening to and watching my work because I really had so much fun creating these pieces. This was a great class to take over the summer; I’m glad I had a chance to “play” with these new tools. 

I am also including a project I developed for SCHL 5100: School Libraries in the Digital Age on Digital Citizenship because this demonstrates our current use of partner materials from code.org and CommonSenseMedia. These partners have provided our students with the resources for success and I am proud to show our student’s interactions with those materials here.
